In order to enhance the safety awareness of the citizens and promote the emergency-response capability of people in the Lujiazui office buildings, the Lujiazui Building Association specially invited professional training lecturers from Shanghai 120 Medical First-Aid Training Center.AIMSN Public-interest Training Center of Pre-hospital First Aid co-organized to carry on free popularity and education for middle and senior management of key company under the jurisdiction of Lujiazui office building.
At 1 pm on June 12, 2014, "Lujiazui building training of first-aid skills knowledge in emergency" was successfully held in conference room at 5th floor of Building of Lujiazui National Development Bank.
The first aid training also invited to the relevant leaders of the Lujiazui Finance and Trade Zone. The trained buildings included China Development Bank Tower, Jinmao Tower, Aurora building, 21st Century Tower, Shanghai Information Tower, Ping An International Finance Centre, Shanghai Stock Exchange Building, Wanxiang Plaza, World Finance Tower, Tongsheng Mansion, New Shanghai International Tower, Bank of Shanghai Headquarters, Bank of East Asia Financial Building, DBS Bank Tower, One Lujiazui, Jinsui Building, China Insurance Building, Hua Neng Union Tower, etc..
Minghua Li (the deputy director of Shanghai 120 Science and Education Department) and Degen Wu (senior trainer) were invited to deliver speeches in this training. The main contents of the training included the principles and steps of on-site first aid, basic principles of management of trauma patient, first aid treatment of common emergencies(coma, chest pain, stroke, convulsions, low blood sugar, etc.), on-site rescue of common accidental injuries (drowning, electrocution, gas poisoning, heat exhaustion and heat stroke, and burns), common disaster risk aversion( fire and earthquake), sudden death and CPR, the operation of AED, and the introduction of AHA's chain of survival.AHA 2010 edition's chain of survival of cardiopulmonary resuscitation and emergency cardiovascular guidelines emphasizes the C-A-B-D, while C means chest compression, A means opening airway, B means rescue breathing and D means automatic external defibrillator (AED).
Two teachers repeatedly emphasized the urgency of implementing first aid for patients with sudden cardiac death and sudden cardiac arrest in training. The emergency system should be immediately started after cardiac arrest, and chest compression can only assist the blood circulation to prevent brain ischemia injury. The most effective first aid method of ventricular fibrillation, 90% of heart arrests, is to defibrillate as soon as possible, and survival rate can reach 49%-79% if making defibrillation in 3 minutes.
Then the two teachers emphasized on the combination of theoretical knowledge of first aid and emergency operations. Through practicing emergency operations of manikins and AED training simulator, every trainee had opportunity to experience emergency operations. They not only grasped the first aid knowledge, but also experienced the whole process of saving people.In the whole training process, trainees enjoy good atmosphere, interact positively, and actively participate in experiencing saving life. The self-rescue and mutual-rescue skills of all trainees have great achievements.
